Actor Patrick Stewart speaks about violence against women and PTSD

Actor Patrick Stewart, best known for his role as Captain Jean-Luc Picard in Star Trek Next Generation, has always been one of my favorite actors.  It is gratifying to know he also has a huge heart.  In this video, a fan at a comic convention asks him what he is most proud of in his life besides his acting.  He describes the work he has done in the UK with Safe House, an organization for domestic violence victims, and his work with combat veterans returning with PTSD.  And at 2;40, he describes the most personal motivations for his philanthropic work.  h/t Upworthy and George Takei
